लोकसभा के पूर्व अध्यक्ष सोमनाथ चटर्जी का दिल का दौरा पड़ने से निधन
10 बार सांसद रहे चुके चटर्जी को 1996 में सर्वश्रेष्ठ सांसद के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया था
लोकसभा के पूर्व अध्यक्ष सोमनाथ चटर्जी का निधन हो गया है। सोमनाथ चटर्जी 89 साल के थे और इधर लंबे समय से बीमार चल रहे थे। दिल का दौरा पड़ने से उनकी तबीयत और बिगड़ गई थी। उन्हें दो दिनों से कोलकाता के एक निजी अस्पताल में वेटिंलेटर पर रखा गया था।
सोमनाथ चटर्जी के निधन पर नेताओं ने गहरा शोक प्रकट किया है।
